Commissioning

Commissioning encompasses the entire electrical functionality of the plant. This includes testing the sensors and actuators, the individual functions of the equipment cabinets and electrical drives on to the parameterization of the frequency and servo converters up to testing the command exchange within system applications such as welding and gluing controllers.

The first commissioning phase is completed by testing the corresponding manual functions of the system. Using this as a basis, the automatic functions are implemented in line with the simulated plant processes.

This is followed by an optimization phase, during which the projected figures of the system such as cycle time and availability are verified.

Up-to-date documentation of the various stages of commissioning is of particular importance.
